I believe that music nourishes the soul in much the same way that food sustains the body. Just as we seek out meals that are both comforting and invigorating, we turn to music to feed something deeper within us, something timeless, emotional, and profoundly human. In this way, music becomes not only a form of expression, but a key source of connection and renewal.
As a baroque violinist, I find great joy in bringing to life the masterworks of the Baroque era, repertoire that continues to resonate with timeless eloquence. As a modern violist, I am equally passionate about exploring and advocating for the often-overlooked soundscape of British composers, whose works were shaped by English Romanticism and the folk song revival.
My artistic practice is deeply rooted in curiosity, empathy, and the conviction that music, like food, is most meaningful when it is both thoughtfully prepared and generously shared.
